Avaratars of Lord Vishnu

Although there is no direct link with the avatars of Lord Vishnu with Bhagavatham, the Krishnavatar plays major role in the epic.

Now going on to the avatars, there are a total of 10 avatars of the Lord Vishnu.
- Matsya avatar          (Fish)
- Koorma avatar        (Tortoise)
- Varaha avatar          ( Boar)
- Narasimha avatar     ( half human, half lion)
- Vaamana avatar        (dwarf)
- Parasuraama avatar  ( sage Parasurama)
- Raama avatar           ( Son of king Drutharatra)
- Balaraama avatar     ( Brother of Krishna)
- Krishna avatar         (Born to kill Kamsa)
- Kalki avatar             ( about to come)
